Traci McKee Recognized as a “Best Mentor” by The Daily Business Review’s Florida Legal Awards

The Daily Business Review announced its 2024 Florida Legal Awards winners, including product liability and mass torts partner Traci McKee, who was recognized as a “Best Mentor.” This award honors South Florida attorneys who take it upon themselves to prepare the next generation of legal talent, passing along valuable knowledge to younger attorneys and paving the way for advancement and stellar contributions to the profession.

McKee was recognized for her leadership within the firm, as office leader of the Fort Myers office and Deputy Practice Group Leader for the firm’s nationwide product liability and mass torts team. She is a mentor and leader who pushes her mentees to reach their highest potential.

She shared in her nomination the most important leadership lesson she’s learned, “Being able to have fun and laugh with your team is critical.” Traci also shared, “There’s no doubt that our jobs can be stressful. We work with clients who, at times, are facing exceedingly stressful and challenging situations. Our job is to take on those challenges and stresses for our clients and to manage and navigate them as best as possible. The job—in and of itself—is stressful which is why it is so important to find ways to have fun with the team through those challenging and stressful times.”
