The panel will highlight some of the biggest laws affecting the pharmaceutical and device industries which have downstream consequences for product liability litigation. Attendees will learn how to spot the most important issues impacting drug and med device litigation down the road.

On December 7, Steve Bennett will co-present on "Revisiting Lone Pine Orders in Drug and Medical Device Mass Torts: Never Say Never?" He will discuss whether Lone Pine Orders have new life following In Re Zimmer NexGen Knee MDL 2240, the changing perceptions of MDL effectiveness and the impact on requests for Lone Pine Orders, alternatives to Lone Pine Orders, and related issues.
