Reinsurance Association of America 2021 Re Basics Seminar

Faegre Drinker Partner Scott Kosnoff will speak at the Reinsurance Association of America's (RAA) 2021 Re Basics virtual seminar in May. The two-day program, “Demystifying Reinsurance: A Basics of Property/Casualty Reinsurance,” is scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday, May 18-19.

Scott’s presentation, “Hot Topic: Artificial Intelligence and Reinsurance,” is on the first day of the seminar. The program will provide an introduction to property/casualty reinsurance, and speakers will present on a number of topics including: the similarities and differences between insurance and reinsurance; the purpose of reinsurance and its impact on the financials of an insurance company; the types of reinsurance contracts and more.
