To Vaccinate or Not to Vaccinate: Considerations for Employers

Labor and employment partner Greg Abrams and associate Taylor Haran authored an article for Chicago Daily Law Bulletin where they shared employer considerations for vaccinations and takeaways for mitigating risk.

Given U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission guidance for employers regarding mandatory COVID-19 vaccinations and implications under multiple federal laws, the authors describe how employers should evaluate whether to mandate vaccines, incentivize employees to obtain vaccines or take no steps. They also discuss steps for avoiding potential legal pitfalls.
