Inside Health Policy Discusses Report by Faegre Drinker on Telehealth Champions of the Midterm Elections

Health policy and government relations director Megan Herber was mentioned in an Inside Health Policy article titled “Elections Results Still Pending for Some Key Telehealth Champions,” which discusses potential outcomes of the 2022 midterm elections related to telehealth policies.

According to a report by Herber and a Faegre Drinker Consulting team, tapering off the COVID-19 public health emergency and navigating the array of subsequent policy implications, including continued access to telehealth within Medicare, will be a hot topic in the new Congress.

Most telehealth “heavy-hitters” were re-elected, the report noted. The report also listed telehealth champions expected to remain in power, those no longer in power, and key elections to watch for as election results unfold.
