CARES Act Funding & Resources
Overview
The emergency relief bill that a bipartisan Congress passed and President Trump signed into law, in response to the pandemic, is the largest such measure in U.S. history. The CARES Act (Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Security Act) injects two trillion dollars into the economy and is targeted at helping small businesses and individuals stay afloat. The complex legislation raises legal, financial, tax and regulatory issues critical for our clients to understand and get out in front of. Our cross disciplinary teams are at work identifying opportunities and challenges created by the CARES Act to help our community navigate these unprecedented times.
