Litigation & Transactional Work

Joe handles both litigation and transactional work in matters across the country. Joe’s litigation experience includes initial case assessment and negotiations, discovery, motion practice, and trials. He has negotiated and drafted debtor-in-possession loan agreements, services contracts with debtors in bankruptcy and asset recovery matters.

Prior Experience & Thought Leadership

Joe is a second-career attorney who previously held positions of lead designer, programmer and creative director for a multimedia marketing/advertising firm, and later owned a creative services consulting firm. He has shared his knowledge with the bankruptcy legal community by coauthoring a regular column in The Legal Intelligencer since 2010. He also authors articles for the American Bankruptcy Institute and others, and speaks on numerous panels.

Personal Interests

Joe enjoys travel, especially trips that include swimming with sea turtles through coral reefs. He can frequently be found camping with his daughters in one of Pennsylvania’s many state parks. He is an avid racquetball player.
