Faegre Drinker Promotes Eight Attorneys to Counsel

Faegre Drinker is pleased to announce the promotion of eight attorneys to counsel, effective Jan. 1, 2021.

The following attorneys have been promoted to counsel, listed alphabetically by location:

Denver

Andrea Leider practices securities and corporate law. She advises public companies on SEC reporting requirements, stock exchange rules, proxy regulation, executive compensation issues and corporate governance matters.

Des Moines

Carolyn Gunkel is a litigator who represents and advises clients on critical legal and business issues. She represents businesses in product liability, agribusiness and toxic tort matters in state and federal courts. Gunkel is experienced in all aspects of litigation.

Scott Halbur represents clients in food and agribusiness litigation, including product liability, mass torts, environmental and natural resources litigation, biotechnology, agricultural contracts and regulatory disputes. Halbur also practices real estate law with a focus on sale, acquisition and development.

Minneapolis

Rhiannon Beckendorf advises clients on labor and employment matters. Her perspective as a former in-house counsel for an international company helps her provide comprehensive compliance and training solutions and transaction-related advice to employers of all sizes.

Nicholas Nelson is an experienced litigator in the U.S. Supreme Court and appellate courts. He analyzes, briefs and solves complex legal doctrine issues for clients, on appeal and in the trial courts. Nelson has significant experience dealing with issues regarding forum selection and transfers when a defendant faces similar lawsuits in multiple jurisdictions.

Evelyn (Evie) Snyder is a trial lawyer who represents clients in complex litigation matters. She primarily counsels and advocates for clients in environmental litigation and government matters.

Philadelphia

Ariel Greenstein concentrates her practice on securities transactions, mergers and acquisitions, ongoing compliance under U.S. securities laws, corporate governance and general corporate representations. Greenstein has advised companies on initial public offerings, follow-on and secondary offerings, tender offers, private placements of debt and equity securities, and public and private mergers and acquisitions.

Wilmington

Joseph Argentina’s professional roots as a graphic designer and creative director taught him to see novel yet practical solutions to legal and business challenges. Argentina counsels clients in bankruptcy and corporate restructuring cases, devising advantageous workout plans and effective litigation strategies.
