Overview

With experience in federal and state courts, Emily Dodane works with the product liability group to counsel on product regulatory compliance and defend product liability and mass tort litigation.

Emily uses her firsthand experience in civil courts and with in-house counsel to inform her work for clients. She is a former judicial extern of the North Carolina Business Court and judicial intern of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Indiana. During law school, Emily also externed in the in-house legal department of pharmaceutical maker Chiesi USA and was a summer associate at Faegre Baker Daniels.

Before her legal career, Emily was a technology consultant with Deloitte Consulting in Washington, D.C., where she worked on financial management software implementations at various federal government agencies. She also spent two years teaching elementary reading in Baltimore, Maryland, as a member of Teach for America.

Personal Interests

Emily is an avid reader, DIYer, and design enthusiast. She credits her love for all home projects to growing up in a century-old house undergoing renovation in historic Noblesville. On any given weekend you will find her cheering on the Butler Bulldogs at Hinkle Fieldhouse, scoping out a local antique store or enjoying a quiet afternoon at home cozied up with her latest book.
