Overview

Susana Guerrero provides counsel on product regulatory compliance and is focused on defending companies in complex product liability and mass tort litigation. 

Prior Experience

Before joining Faegre Drinker, Susana served as an extern to the Honorable Michael B. Hyman, Illinois Appellate Court, First Division. In this role, she drafted and revised bench memorandum on speedy trial and excessive sentencing appeals, and she observed and participated in appellate oral arguments. Susana also held a summer associate position at a multinational law firm in the summer of 2023 where she honed in on her experience in product liability matters. She also volunteered for the Loyola Community Law Center Clinic, where she held a 711 license in order to appear in court as guardian ad litem.

During law school, Susana was heavily involved in moot court. She was an oralist and brief writer for two years on both the Chicago Bar Association team and the Hunton Andrews Kurth Moot Court National Championship team. Susana served as the chief justice of the program during her 3L year.

Susana served as a summer associate with the firm in 2022.

Personal Interests

Outside of the office, Susana likes to attend Chicago Symphony Orchestra concerts and shows at the Joffrey ballet, and try out new dinner recipes.
