Overview

Kristin Halsing provides advice and counsel to employers, including drafting employee handbooks and standalone policies, evaluating and advising on internal policies, protocols and practices, conducting internal investigations and preparing severance and separation agreements. She also strategically advises employers on day-to-day employment issues ranging from separations, leaves of absence and performance management.

Kristin also represents employers in state and federal courts, arbitration and administrative hearings involving all aspects of labor and employment matters, including wage-and-hour class and representative actions, discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, retaliation and employee mobility matters.

Prior Experience

Prior to joining the firm, Kristin was an attorney at a national law firm focusing on employment, labor and workforce management law. Kristin also served as judicial extern to the Honorable Ming W. Chin at the Supreme Court of California.

Personal Interests

In her spare time, Kristin enjoys watching musical theater around California and on Broadway, traveling whenever she can, and rooting for the San Francisco Giants.
