Overview

Alyce Hammer advises and advocates for clients navigating the complex government and regulatory landscape, with a particular focus on privacy and cybersecurity. She assists clients with data privacy, clinical trial and artificial intelligence-related matters.

Prior Experience

During law school, Alyce worked as a law clerk with the Texas Office of the Attorney General in the Consumer Protection Division. In this role, she drafted memoranda and assisted with discovery for Texas civil enforcement actions and large-scale multidistrict litigations.

Alyce also studied abroad in London through Notre Dame’s London Law Program. There, she externed for Rodney Dixon KC and worked on matters relating to international criminal law and the International Court of Justice.

Through her position as an oralist on Notre Dame Law’s Moot Court Board, Alyce was a member of the Seventh Circuit Practice Externship. Alyce represented a client on appeal before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit on a United States Federal Sentencing Guidelines issue.

Alyce was a summer associate with the firm in 2023.

Personal Interests 

Outside of the office, Alyce enjoys exploring D.C., doing yoga and hand embroidering. She also loves cheering on her favorite college sports teams — SMU, Notre Dame and the University of Tennessee.
