Overview

Morgan Alexis Howard advises clients on a wide variety of customs and international trade matters, particularly involving trade remedy proceedings and import compliance. At The George Washington University Law School, she received concentrations in international comparative law and business and finance law.

Prior Experience

Before joining Faegre Drinker, Morgan served as a judicial extern for the U.S. Court of International Trade, where she assisted on slip opinion drafting and drafted memorandums related to CVD orders, tariff classifications, and international rules and regulations. Externing for Judge Timothy Reif provided her with an insight into what judges value and look for in briefings and oral arguments.

Morgan also previously worked as a law clerk for the U.S. Senate and an international company, where she learned how to navigate contractual frameworks in diverse cultural settings. 

Personal Interests

Outside of work, Morgan enjoys taking Pilates classes, painting and traveling to new places. She’s visited more than 50 countries and hopes to explore South America next.
