Overview
Arathi uses her technical background in biological sciences to provide innovative solutions for clients. As a summer associate, Arathi worked alongside her future Faegre Drinker colleagues on intellectual property matters involving trademark infringement, cybersquatting, and patent litigation. She also engaged in pro bono work to assist Afghan nationals seeking asylum.
Prior Experience
At the Indiana University Maurer School of Law, Arathi gained valuable experience through a variety of organizations and work opportunities. As a member of the Intellectual Property Clinic, she advised clients on how to register and protect their trademarks and patents. She also served as an associate and podcast host for IP Theory, an intellectual property journal at Indiana University. Arathi is passionate about mentorship and engaging with others and has held leadership positions in the Intellectual Property Association, ChIPs, and the Asian Pacific American Law Student Association.
Through a dual-degree program with O.P. Jindal Global Law School, Arathi obtained international experience in India and Australia. She worked as a legal extern in the High Court of Kerala, as a summer associate in the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications Practice of a large law firm in India, and as a legal intern at a cybersecurity startup in Australia.
Personal Interests
Arathi enjoys cooking (especially Indian food), fashion, working out and live music.
