Overview

Jose counsels clients in all types of state and federal litigation, with a concentration on complex commercial litigation, class actions, data privacy and white collar defense matters.

Prior Experience

Jose began his legal career with Faegre Drinker as a summer associate, where he researched and drafted memoranda for court filings and client advisement, and he helped clients comply with state data protection statutes by providing updated compliance checklists. Jose also worked with families seeking asylum in the United States by completing asylum applications and he helped to address issues surrounding homelessness in Georgia by suggesting legislative solutions and by securing funding for the National Homelessness Law Center.

Personal Interests

Outside of work, Jose enjoys trying new coffee varieties, cooking Cuban food, playing chess, and spending time with his nieces and nephew. During the summer months, he enjoys swimming, especially at the beach.
