Overview

Kaitlin McKenzie helps rein in concerns arising from business tax and escheat/unclaimed property issues. She provides clarifying counsel on sales and use taxes, income and franchises taxes, withholding tax and unclaimed property services. Kait also represents clients in audits, appeals, return positions and litigation. She collaborates with clients across industries and state jurisdictions, including Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware and Philadelphia.

Kait’s astute approach to tax matters led to her 2015 appointment to Philadelphia’s Tax Review Board (TRB). She was tapped by former Mayor Michael A. Nutter to help resolve nonjudicial disputes regarding city taxes, charges, fees and fines.
