Overview

Bob Null collaborates with companies to achieve their IP goals. Bob helps clients build, execute and manage competitive intellectual property strategies, primarily by assisting with IP procurement and evaluating risks in product commercialization.

Patent Procurement, Prosecution & Opinions

Bob provides domestic and foreign patent preparation and prosecution services in a variety of technical areas, including engine design and control, high-tech and advanced manufacturing, and medical device technologies. He also provides freedom-of-use analyses and opinions on infringement and validity issues, as well as “design around” advice.

IP Litigation & Counseling

Bob assists clients in intellectual property litigation and offers client counseling services, such as license preparation and negotiation, patent valuation, and other portfolio management activities.

Engineering Experience

Before practicing law, Bob was an electrical engineer with an aerospace company for more than four years. He designed and tested pressure sensors and related circuits for commercial and military jet engine controls.

Personal Interests

In his free time, Bob enjoys spending time with his wife and four adult children, golf, and woodworking.
