Overview

Hudson Peters supports businesses of all sizes as they navigate the complexities of technology and software transactions and other intellectual property matters.

IP and IT Transactions

As computerized tools continue to become an increasingly important part of business, accelerated by the growth of AI and Big Data, Hudson supports clients in laying the contractual framework for their digital transformations. He has worked with clients from a variety of industries, with particular emphasis on the life sciences, pharmaceutical, food and agriculture, information technology, and logistics spaces. He has led negotiations and supported fellow team members in a wide array of intellectual property and technology transactions, including software licensing and software as a service (SaaS) agreements, service and support agreements, data licensing arrangements, and complex outsourcing transactions.

Hudson also assists clients in developing and licensing their intellectual property portfolios, including through drafting joint development and licensing agreements, as well as commercial contracts regarding the manufacture and sale of proprietary products.

Hudson further supports clients’ strategic goals in M&A transactions, including by conducting due diligence of buyer and seller intellectual property portfolios and agreements and by negotiating various transaction-related agreements.
