Faegre Drinker Welcomes 46 Associates to Inaugural First Year Class
Faegre Drinker has announced its inaugural first year associate class, which includes 46 attorneys in 13 locations across the country and 12 of the firm’s practice groups and industry teams.
The 2021 associate class will take part in an immersive development program as they begin their careers with Faegre Drinker. Their first six weeks at the firm are committed entirely to practical skills training, before beginning client work.
New associates take part in interactive programs and learn from panel discussions on topics including practice and technical skill proficiency; legal ethics; behavioral competencies; the business aspects of a law firm; individual business development; and what it means to provide excellent client service.
Mentoring is a critical component of Faegre Drinker’s development efforts. Each new associate connects on a regular, ongoing basis with a partner in the firm to answer questions and provide feedback.
Given the COVID-19 pandemic and remote work environment, the development program this year leverages technology and is entirely virtual.
