Overview

Eva Tang helps clients grow and protect their intellectual property portfolio worldwide through the strategic preparation and prosecution of patent applications, freedom-to-operate analyses, patent infringement and validity investigations, and patent landscapes. 

Eva primarily provides advice to clients in the chemical and mechanical arts. Her areas of technical experience include: 

  • Filtration
  • Material science, including 3D printing and vapor deposition materials
  • Polymer science
  • Medical devices

Eva also supports clients and fellow team members with M&A transactions, including conducting intellectual property related due diligence and drafting assignment and license agreements. 

Prior Experience

During law school, Eva assisted Emory’s Office of Technology Transfer with issues regarding software and medical device patents. She also served as president of the Emory Intellectual Property Law Society.

Personal Interests

An accomplished violinist with 20 years of musical experience, Eva played in symphony orchestras during college and law school.
