Overview

Macio Sexton, Jr. counsels clients in the investment management industry, including investment companies, boards of directors and investment advisers.

Prior Experience

During law school, Macio served as compliance extern for Notre Dame’s Athletics Department, where he completed assignments facilitating NCAA and Office of Civil Rights compliance across 26 varsity teams, and as a legal extern for Notre Dame’s Office of General Counsel, where he drafted documents for commercial real estate transactions and higher education matriculation agreements. Macio also served as a graduate assistant for Notre Dame Football, where he worked with the director of player development to design and launch Notre Dame Football’s player development program, which is focused on financial wellness, relationship building and career path navigation.

Macio held a summer associate position at a competing multinational law firm in 2023, where he worked with the firm’s asset management, finance and private capital transactions practices.  

Macio was a summer associate with Faegre Drinker in 2022, where he worked with the firm’s investment management and corporate practices.

Personal Interests

Outside of work, Macio enjoys spending time with family and friends, community service, sports, traveling, and video games.
