Overview

Katherine Vu counsels public and privately held companies on a wide variety of corporate matters, including transactions, governance, and mergers and acquisitions.

Prior Experience

During law school, Katherine was a law clerk with a competing firm, where she drafted real estate purchase agreements, legal memorandums on federal securities law, and a non-consolidation opinion for a private debt offering. She also worked as a summer law clerk for the Honorable Phillip Hom in New York Supreme Court’s 11th Judicial District.

Adept at research, she served as a research assistant to two law professors, researching topics such as the macroeconomic effects of public benefit corporations and legal issues surrounding force majeure clauses during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Personal Interests

In her free time, Kat enjoys running, painting and traveling.
