Optum, a subsidiary of UnitedHealth Group, entered into a long-term, multi-pronged outsourcing arrangement with Triple-S Management Corporation, the largest managed health care company in Puerto Rico. Our firm advised Optum on the deal.
The arrangement provides for Triple-S to outsource information technology services and certain business processes to Optum. The deal is the first of this nature for Optum.
