Financing of Anaerobic Digester-to-Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) Facility in North Carolina

Carbon Cycle North Carolina, LLC (C2NC) secured financing for its anaerobic digester-to-RNG facility located in Duplin County, North Carolina through senior loan proceeds partially guaranteed by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) through its Rural Energy for America (REAP) and Business & Industry (B&I) Programs, the issuance of taxable subordinate bonds by C2NC's upstream parent company, C2NC Holdings, LLC, and additional equity contributions.  Our firm's project finance team represented the institutional bond purchaser in the subordinate debt financing.
