Faegre Baker Daniels Promotes 9 Legal Professionals to Counsel

Faegre Baker Daniels is pleased to announce the recent promotion of nine associates to counsel, effective January 1, 2017.

The following attorneys have been promoted to counsel, listed alphabetically by location.  

Denver

Ben Petre is a litigator and counselor in construction and general commercial matters. He focuses on construction law and business and commercial litigation, but is also experienced in business torts, professional liability, insurance coverage and insurance bad faith litigation.

Des Moines

Ryan Howell is a trial attorney handling various litigation matters for some of the firm’s largest clients. From multinational corporations to small, family-held businesses, Howell regularly represents clients in venues across the country — in both state and federal courts. He is a member of the firm’s food and agriculture litigation team, playing a leadership role in the crop nutrient/fertilizer segment.

Fort Wayne, Ind.

Brian Bailey is a member of the intellectual property group, focusing on patents. His technological experience includes medical devices, automation equipment and automotive technologies.

Indianapolis

Emily Campbell works in FaegreBD’s insurance industry team. her transactional and regulatory experience includes work on acquisitions, holding company transactions, company licensure and a variety of regulatory matters.

Heather Moore is a member of the firm’s corporate group, and focuses her practice on a range of legal matters involving nonprofit organizations. She regularly advises colleges and universities (including faith-based institutions), fraternities and sororities, private foundations, charities and other organizations exempt from federal and state income taxes.

London

Claire Nilson is a U.S. immigration attorney with substantial experience in immigrant and non-immigrant visas. She is also qualified as a solicitor of England and Wales, as well as an attorney at law of Trinidad and Tobago. Claire has been working in the field of immigration law for nearly 15 years.

Minneapolis

Kristin Jameson practices with the firm’s real estate group, where she focuses in the areas of commercial leasing and institutional lending and low-income housing. Jameson represents both landlord and tenant clients in drafting, reviewing and negotiating leases.

Peggy Middlestead focuses her practice in real estate law. She practices primarily in the areas of commercial property purchase/sale, commercial loan transactions, corporate/real estate due diligence and offsale/onsale liquor licensing.

Keri Wertish practices in the real estate group. She has been involved in numerous real estate transactions, with an emphasis on commercial leasing, affordable housing development and corporate/real estate due diligence.
