Faegre Drinker Represents Trystar in its Acquisition by Blackstone Energy Transition Partners

A Faegre Drinker team led by corporate partners Ryan Miske and Ken Ludlum provided legal counsel to Trystar in its definitive agreement to be acquired by Blackstone Energy Transition Partners.

Trystar is a leading provider of electrical power solutions for the commercial, industrial, and utility markets. Established in 1991, Trystar’s diverse portfolio of offerings includes a wide range of safe, reliable, permanent, and portable power solutions that serve diverse industry sectors including healthcare, data centers, utilities, entertainment, education, government, and commercial buildings.

Based in Faribault, Minnesota, the company’s product offerings help to ensure power reliability, which is of increasing importance amidst the energy transition.

Trystar is a portfolio company of private equity investment firm Goldner Hawn. Goldner Hawn was founded in 1989 in Minneapolis and has been a source of private capital to leading lower middle market companies for over 30 years. Goldner Hawn has made over 100 platform and add-on investments in companies with total transaction values exceeding $4 billion.
